Shipping Policy

Order Processing & Fulfilment

Every Ici Là Bas piece is inspected, packed, and fulfilled directly from our studio in Hong Kong. We make every effort to dispatch your order as promptly as possible.

  • In-Stock Items: Dispatched within 1–3 business days.

  • Pre-Order Items: Please allow 2–3 weeks for production prior to dispatch. Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items will ship together once all pieces are complete.

  • Processing Operations: Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. Handling times may expand slightly during new collection launches, peak periods, or promotional events.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Store prices and checkout totals are processed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) or your auto-converted local currency. All quoted delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as border clearances and transit schedules remain subject to local postal and courier operations.

Domestic (Hong Kong)

  • Flat Rate Shipping: HK$50 via SF Express or Hong Kong Post.

  • Complimentary Shipping: Free on domestic orders of HK$500 or more.

  • Estimated Delivery: 1–3 business days after dispatch.

Regional (Macau, Mainland China & Taiwan)

  • Flat Rate Shipping: HK$80 via SF Express or Hong Kong Post.

  • Complimentary Shipping: Free on regional orders of HK$800 or more.

  • Estimated Delivery: 2–5 business days after dispatch.

  • Taiwan EZ WAY Authentication: Per Taiwan Customs regulations, recipients must complete real-name verification via the EZ WAY mobile app matching the exact recipient name provided at checkout. Shipments delayed, held, or returned due to incomplete verification are subject to re-shipment charges.

International & Worldwide

  • Flat Rate Shipping: HK$300 via express air courier.

  • Complimentary Shipping: Free on international orders of HK$1,000 or more.

  • Estimated Delivery: 7–21 business days, subject to destination customs processing.

Customs, Import Duties & VAT (DAP / DDU)

To deliver directly from our studio to our global community, international shipments are fulfilled on a DAP (Delivered at Place / Duties Unpaid) basis.

  • Import Duties & Taxes: Applicable import duties, local sales taxes, VAT/GST, and courier handling fees are not collected at checkout and remain the sole responsibility of the recipient upon arrival.

  • United Kingdom & European Union: UK VAT (20%) or local EU import VAT applies to all incoming shipments. Customs duties apply to consignments exceeding GBP £135 or EUR €150 respectively.

  • Customs Manifests: All international parcels ship with digital customs documentation and standard 6-digit tariff classifications (HS codes) to facilitate efficient border processing.

  • Refused & Uncollected Shipments: Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel from border or postal authorities does not constitute an authorised return. Because international freight and administrative customs fees are committed upon dispatch, original shipping fees, courier return freight, and destination handling charges incurred on refused parcels are non-refundable and will be deducted from any final balance.

Lost, Delayed & Damaged Packages

  • Carrier Logistics: Once handed over to our transport partners, physical transit is managed by the carrier. While Ici Là Bas is not liable for courier delays, weather holds, or customs inspections outside our control, we actively manage trace requests on your behalf.

  • Trace Requests: If tracking displays no movement for more than 7 business days (or 14 business days for international destinations), or indicates delivery without physical receipt, please contact us with your order number so we can initiate a formal inquiry with the carrier.

  • Damaged Arrivals: Should your piece arrive damaged in transit, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photo documentation of the packaging and product so we can arrange an appropriate resolution.

Order Tracking & Address Accuracy

  • Order Tracking: Upon dispatch, an automated notification containing tracking details will be issued to follow your package's journey.

  • Address Accuracy: Please verify delivery coordinates carefully prior to completing checkout. Ici Là Bas cannot be held responsible for shipments delayed, misdirected, or lost due to incorrect details provided by the buyer. Re-shipment charges for returned parcels will apply to the customer.
